My Portfolio Version Two

Hi! This is my first blog, and I’ll be sharing a bit about Portfolio Version Two. Not the most exciting topic? Maybe — but it’s important to me, and here’s why.
As you might’ve guessed, I had a previous version of my portfolio. This one is the second — a much more refined version. One of the biggest changes I made was simplifying the overall look by switching the brand colors to just black and white. This helps keep the focus on what really matters: the content. Before designing anything, I asked myself:
What do I actually want to show people?
I came up with a short list:
- Blogs
- Projects
- About Me
- My Artworks
- Experience
From that list, I mapped out the pages I needed and started designing in Figma. Once I had the visuals down, I decided on the technologies I wanted to use.
What technologies do I want to use?
- Next.js (App Router)
- Tailwind CSS
- Laravel
- MySQL
At the moment, my deployed portfolio is still static — all the data is hardcoded. That’s because I’m still learning Laravel, and my current skills aren’t quite enough to build the full backend. Still, I wanted to share the portfolio as it is, rather than wait.
The plan is to keep working on the backend slowly but surely. It’ll take time (because I’m not confident in Laravel yet), but I’m committed to turning this into a fully dynamic portfolio — one that connects both frontend and backend seamlessly.
